Well then, was Holtz-Eakin the "miracle that John McCain helped create." Was the reporter looking at a picture of McCain's children, and so *they* were the miracle? What did the word "miracle" refer to, if not the BlackBerry?
Um....symblolism. He was referring to Telecom law. If he had an iPhone in is pocket he would have held that up. You really believe the McCain Camaign's strategy is to get people to believe he invented the BlackBerry?

Holding up the BlackBerry, Holtz-Eakin proclaimed, "You're looking at the miracle John McCain helped create." I think it's pretty straightforward.
