Palin Refuses to Comply With Abuse-of-Power Investigation *Controlled By Republicans*

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has refused to cooperate with a bipartisan investigation into allegations that she abused her power as governor.

This comes after she has promised to cooperate, because she has nothing to hide.

But people with nothing to hide don't refuse to cooperate with bipartisan investigations. She has an attorney, and claims she's done nothing wrong, so why won't she cooperate?

I think this is just another planned distraction to give John McCain time to figure out what to say about the abysmal downturn in the economy, so on the one hand, I feel like a McCain enabler even mentioning this. On the other hand, I think it's important for Americans to know that if McCain is running for a third Bush term, Palin is running for a third Cheney term.

The McCain campaign is trying to slime the man whose firing started this whole investigation. Shame on them.
